As an Advanced Manufacturing Technician Apprentice, you will:
- Learn to build and maintain aerospace components using precision techniques
- Develop technical skills like torquing, soldering, point‑to‑point wiring, and reading engineering documents
- Earn certifications such as IPC 620 – Cable Harness Certification and JSTD Limited Solder
- Gain hands‑on experience in a dynamic, fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate in a 9‑week paid training program (progress contingent on successful completion of each phase)
- Work 40 hours per week during training
- Develop technical skills essential to advanced manufacturing and aerospace production
- Perform precision work on components ranging from 0.002” to 0.25”
- Apply industry and NASA standards to manufacturing processes
- Collaborate effectively in a team‑based environment
- Opportunity to earn multiple certifications fully funded by Lockheed Martin
- Post‑training, contribute to production activities and support full‑time operations
- Paid training at $17/hour, with benefits
- Hands‑on work with tools and components; requires manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Facility operates 7 days per week with potential for non‑standard shifts post‑training

The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado is $31,616 – $50,591. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
