Machine Operator, CNC Machinist
Lockheed Martin Space Production Operations is seeking an Experimental CNC Machinist to join our team in Littleton, CO.
Responsibilities- Machine, fabricate, or assemble parts to printed operation sheet specifications using CNC machines.
- Interpret CAD data, prints, and sketches regarding fabrication and follow written instructions.
- Set up and operate vertical CNC machines, performing drilling, milling, boring, threading, and other operations on all types of work within the machine's scope.
- Perform secondary operations during machine cycle such as deburring and straightening.
- Inspect parts before submission and during production using standard gauges, micrometers, indicators, vernier calipers, depth gauges, and other measuring devices to ensure conformity.
- Select and install proper cutting tools, zero in the machine, and adjust setup as needed.
- Assist in providing feedback on prescribed processes.
- Machining experience.
- Ability to read and interpret GD&T documents.
- Proficiency with precision measuring equipment.
- Proficiency in CAM software.
- Completion of a Machine Tool Technology program (preferred).
- Experience in an AS9100 environment.
- Mastercam 2024/25 experience.
Clearance Level: None
Work Schedule: 9x80 schedule with every other Friday off.
Pay Rate: Annual base salary range $56,600 - $99,705 (location dependent).
