Experimental CNC Machinist

Location:

Littleton, CO

• Follow instructions to machine, fabricate, or assemble parts to print and operation sheet specifications using CNC machines.
• Interpret CAD data, prints, and sketches regarding fabrication and follow written instructions.
• Set up and operate computer numerical controlled vertical machines, performing operations such as drilling, milling, boring, and threading on any/all types of work within the scope of the machine.
• Perform secondary operations during machine cycle such as deburring and straightening work area.
• Inspect parts prior to submission and as they are produced using standard gauges, micrometers, indicators, vernier calipers, depth gauges, and other measuring devices to ensure conformity to specifications.
• Select and install proper cutting tools, zero the machine to control and make other necessary setup adjustments.
• Assist in providing feedback on prescribed processes.

• Minimum of 5 years as a CNC Machinist.
• Ability to read and interpret GD&T documents.
• Proficiency with using precision measuring equipment.
• Proficient in CAM software.
• US Citizen.

• Completion of a Machine Tool Technology program preferred.
• AS9100 environment experience.
• Mastercam 2024/25 experience.
