Packaging Technician

Position:
Packaging Line Tech 1

• Adhere to safety and quality standards set by Breckenridge Brewery; complete all required safety trainings.
• Operate packaging equipment according to the Machine Operations Matrix and assist in 20 machine changeovers per year.
• Conduct audits: set up machines, run counts, and perform audits every 30 minutes during runs.
• Perform troubleshooting of equipment and report issues promptly to the Shift Lead, supervisor, or manager.
• Clean general facilities and operation areas; complete daily and weekly cleaning paperwork.
• Fill out batch tracking information, end‑of‑run counts of materials, and notate materials left on partial pallets.
• Read and follow SOPs and alert management to potential quality or safety concerns.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Prior experience in a packaging environment preferred.
• Ability to carry and lift 50–165lbs, and to work safely in a loud, hot, wet, or chemical‑laden environment.
• Physical ability to crouch, bend, stoop, and reach; to work on feet for 8 hours or more.
• Flexible to work day, afternoon, and midnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Mechanical background preferred.
• High School Diploma required.
• Successful completion of pre‑employment background check and driving records.
