Environmental Test Technician

Overview

This Mid‑Level Environmental Test Technician role is built on existing Test Technician skills and focuses on supporting satellite RF electronic box, antenna, and battery testing using thermal vacuum and vibration test equipment at our Littleton, Colorado manufacturing facility. The position requires working the 2nd Shift (9x80 schedule) and includes occasional holiday and weekend work to support critical business operations.

• Must work a 2nd Shift (9x80 schedule).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work alternate shifts, occasional holidays, and weekends as required.
• Suggest, evaluate, implement, and sustain process improvements.
• Ability to decipher and follow engineering specifications and work instructions.
• Additional duties may be assigned by management.
• U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

• Read and understand electrical schematics or process flow diagrams.
• Hands‑on experience with torque, wire routing, and other assembly processes.
• Knowledge of mechanical skills such as basic piping and mechanical assembly.
• Familiarity with electrical multimeters and other test equipment.
• Low voltage electrical wiring skills.
• Basic understanding of vacuum processes and technology.
• Basic understanding of instrumentation and process control.
• Basic understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLC) and ladder logic.
• Basic understanding of mechanical/physics concepts such as vibration, force, and thermodynamics.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Solid interpersonal communication skills.

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $43,100 – $76,130. For other states the salary range will reflect the candidate’s final work location.
