Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering. The incumbent may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.

The incumbent may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.
Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations.
- Own and manage strategic, critical, and tactical supplier relationships to achieve best value and identifying and managing supply chain risks.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities for a range of engineered products.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance to meet schedule, quality, cost and technical requirements, implementing corrective actions and improvement plans as required.
- Act as the primary interface between suppliers and internal customers, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
- Developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, managing expectations, and influencing outcomes at multiple organizational levels.
- Driving continuous improvement within procurement and the wider supply chain.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations at a variety of levels.
- Use Enterprise Resource planning tools to conduct logistics planning, management, and tracking activities.
- Evaluate material issues/concerns to determine impacts to business operations
- Identify schedule delivery improvement opportunities with a focus on early and on-time delivery of materials to support the manufacturing success.
- Generate reports and develop metric reports to provide performance status to leadership teams.
- Conduct contingency schedule planning to determine best path forward and mitigate hardware delays.
- Understand and communicate the plan for deliverable hardware including critical path, constraints, risks, and opportunities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in material sourcing and/or procurement.
- Experience working with product vendors.
- Experience managing schedule and cost.
- Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Project, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to work full-time, on-site.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, but not required to start.

Skills:
- Experience working with different multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience coordinating and developing schedules.
- Ability to work multiple projects in parallel.
- Strong understanding of material planning, inventory control, and supply chain processes.
- Experience working with complex Bills of Materials (BOMs) and supporting large-scale manufacturing operations.
- Proven track record of adhering to procurement procedures and processes, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely execution of all procurement activities.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning software (i.e. SAP). Basic knowledge of SAP for creating and tracking Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience using data to develop metrics.
- Capable of working in a fast paced, demanding environment, providing independent thinking, problem resolution, and action with minimal direct oversight by management.
Full-Time Salary Range: $67400.00 - $125200.00
