Manufacturing Resource Planner

• Work directly with Project Managers to review material readiness, identify shortages, and support project and production schedules.
• Track material requirements across multiple spacecraft builds and manufacturing activities.
• Identify material risks, shortages, long-lead items, and other potential impacts to production schedules.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing Engineering, Inventory, and Integration teams to resolve material-related issues.
• Monitor production progress and proactively address material-related delays or roadblocks.
• Provide clear status updates regarding material availability, procurement progress, shortages, and production readiness both internally and to clients.

BOM & ERP Management

• Review engineering design Bills of Material (BOM) generated from engineering drawings and other engineering documentation.
• Transfer engineering BOM data into the ERP system while maintaining configuration accuracy and traceability.
• Create, maintain, and update Bills of Material in Odoo.
• Establish Manufacturing Orders in Odoo to support production and spacecraft integration activities.
• Review BOMs for completeness, availability, sourcing requirements, and potential material constraints.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve BOM discrepancies, substitutions, or configuration changes.
• Maintain accurate material, inventory, and production records within Odoo.
• Work closely with Buyers to procure materials required for production and spacecraft integration.
• Create and maintain Purchase Orders in Odoo.
• Support supplier identification and sourcing activities for production materials and components.
• Identify alternative materials, parts, or suppliers when preferred items are unavailable, obsolete, or present schedule risks.
• Coordinate proposed material substitutions with Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Procurement as appropriate.
• Track purchase orders, supplier commitments, and expected delivery dates to ensure alignment with production schedules.
• Follow up on late or at-risk material and communicate potential schedule impacts to Project Managers and production teams.

Inventory Planning & Control

• Monitor inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-progress, flight hardware, consumables, and finished subsystems.
• Establish and maintain minimum/maximum inventory levels for commonly used consumables and production materials.
• Analyze material usage and production demand to ensure appropriate stocking levels.
• Help minimize excess inventory while maintaining sufficient material availability to support production.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP system.
• Support cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and material accountability activities.
• Ensure adherence to material handling and storage requirements, particularly for sensitive and flight-qualified hardware.

Production & Manufacturing Support

• Work with Manufacturing Engineers to ensure production BOMs, material requirements, and Manufacturing Orders accurately support planned work.
• Ensure Integration technicians have the materials, tools, and equipment required to complete scheduled production activities.
• Kit Manufacturing Orders and production work accurately and efficiently.
• Verify that required materials are available before production activities begin.
• Coordinate material movement, staging, and delivery to manufacturing and cleanroom areas.
• Support resolution of material nonconformances, shortages, substitutions, and production constraints.
• Assist with receiving and outgoing material processes as needed, including documentation and inspection coordination.

• BS Engineering, Engineering Services, Logistics, Operations or a related degree
• 2 years+of MRP experience
• Desire to solve problems collaboratively
• Strong organizational skills

• Experience with our ERP system ODOO
• Experience supporting aerospace, satellite missions
• Familiarity with mission assurance
• Experience with spacecraft manufacturing
