Department:
Operating Room (OR). Position:
Registered Nurse (RN).

Work Schedule:

Full Time, 80 hours per pay period (2 weeks).

Shift: Days.

Pay Range: $38.91 - $60.31 per hour, dependent on experience.

This role is onsite only; no hybrid or remote option.

Responsibilities
  • Provides top‑of‑scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
  • Values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes.
  • Prioritizes wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence‑based practice.
  • Models proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.
  • Welcomes new knowledge in a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment.
  • Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care.
  • Perioperative direct care includes practice in Perioperative, PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit), or Operating Room levels of care.
  • Adheres to AORN and ABPANC core curriculum and certification standards as part of evidence‑based care models.
  • Participates in individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout clinical orientation, supported by Clinical Educators.
Minimum Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
  • Minimum 2 years OR experience.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
  • On‑site BLS or CPR card must remain valid for the first 60 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree.
  • Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification.
