Registered Nurse; Virtual Care

Job Summary

Work Schedule:

Full Time, 80 hours per pay period (2 weeks). Shift: Days. This is an onsite role with no hybrid or remote option. Additional differential pay may be available for candidates with 2+ years of OR RN experience at UCH Anschutz.

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 6 months of OR nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
• Provides top‑of‑scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.
• Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care.
• Direct care includes practice in Perioperative, PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) or Operating Room levels of care.
• Familiarity with AORN and ABPANC core curriculum and certification standards.

• Provide direct patient care in perioperative, PACU, and OR settings.
• Precept and mentor new healthcare staff and UCHealth employees.
• Apply the nursing process to deliver evidence‑based care models.
• Ensure safety and quality in patient care at the point of care.
