UCHealth Anschutz - Aurora

Department

Labor & Delivery Metro Denver Float Pool – support patients & team at University of Colorado Hospital, Highlands Ranch Hospital, and Longs Peak Hospital

Work Schedule

Full Time, 72 hours per pay period (2 weeks), Day & Night Rotation. Onsite only.

Pay

$35.29 - $54.71/hour, dependent on experience.

Minimum Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board‑approved RN program (less than 3 years of experience)
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • 6 months of Women and Infants nursing experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
  • NRP certification within 6 months of hire
  • BLS or CPR card (Professional Rescuer) with the card in hand before the start date; valid for 60 days of hire
  • C-EFM certification (if applicable)
Responsibilities
  • Provide top scope practice in direct patient care using the nursing process
  • Value a multidisciplinary team approach for exceptional outcomes
  • Prioritize wellness, patient perspective, and evidence‑based practice
  • Preceptor new staff and UCHealth HCWs
  • Contribute to patient safety and quality at the point of care
