Registered Nurse Med Surg Nights

Location & Shift

Full time, Night shift (United States of America). 7700 S Broadway, Littleton, Colorado 80122.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to evaluate physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, and regularly evaluate and revise them as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self‑care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.

• Organizational and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
• Ability to work as a team player within a unit.
• Effective verbal and oral communication and problem‑solving skills.
• EKG interpretation skills (based on patient; see document EKG and Advanced Life Support Requirements).
• Fluency in English (read, verbal and written).
• Basic computer skills – ability to navigate Microsoft Windows‑based programs.
• High level of abstract reasoning to assess patients, evaluate interventions, and revise plans of care according to outcomes.

• Associate's of Nursing (required).
• Bachelor's of Nursing (preferred).
• Registered Nurse (RN) license (required).
• Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) (required).

1+ year acute care hospital setting (preferred).

Physical Requirements:

$34.26 – $59.24 per hour.
