RN Acute Care Medical Surgical Oncology

Position Overview

Location:

UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital, Highlands Ranch, CO – HRH Med Surg Oncology Department.

FTE: PRN, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Nights (onsite, no remote option)

Pay: $35.29 – $54.71 per hour, with an additional $1,600 quarterly night‑shift incentive for full‑time RNs and LPNs.

• Graduate of an accredited or state‑board‑approved registered/professional nursing program if less than 3 years of experience.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum 6 months RN experience.
• Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy / ONS experience within 1 year of hire.
• BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross) CPR Professional Rescuer card on hand before start date; card must remain current through 60 days of hire.

• Provide top‑of‑scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Value a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes.
• Prioritize wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence‑based practice.
• Model proficiency through precepting new staff and others in a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment.
• Contribute to safe, quality care at the point of care.
• Direct care includes specialty acute‑care (Med‑Surg) units of moderate to high patient acuity, following evidence‑based care models and specialty certification standards.
