Registered Nurse - Emergency Psychiatric

Role: Registered Nurse in a Psychiatric Emergency Department, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced environment.

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to ensure high-quality, safe outcomes.
• Monitoring and documenting patient conditions, communicating with multidisciplinary teams, and coordinating transfers, discharges, and psychosocial support.
• Educating patients and families tailored to individual needs and delegating tasks to ancillary staff.
• Precepting students and new hires, demonstrating critical thinking, decisive judgment, and minimal supervision.

• Valid RN license and BLS certification; ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
• Recent RN experience, preferably over six months, with some experience in cardiac life support.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills in a clinical setting.
