Role Overview:
Provides high-level nursing care in a specialized acute care setting within the Acute Cardiology Medicine department. Utilizes the nursing process to deliver direct patient care, prioritizing wellness, safety, and evidence-based practices. Acts as a preceptor for new staff and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:Manages patients with moderate to high acuity in Med-Surg units, adhering to core curricula and certification standards. Contributes to a safe, quality-focused environment and supports team development through mentorship.
Qualifications & Skills:Valid Colorado RN license or eNLC privileges, at least 1 year of experience, and BLS certification through American Heart Association or Red Cross. Demonstrates proficiency in acute patient care, teamwork, and evidence-based practice.
