Role & Responsibilities:
The RN in the Emergency Department provides direct patient care up to level 1 trauma, utilizing evidence-based practices within a multidisciplinary team approach. Key duties include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, prioritizing safety and quality, and precepting new staff or students.
Qualifications & Skills:Candidates must have a valid RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and at least 6 months of RN experience. Certifications required include PALS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC or ATCN, Trauma Nurse Core Course, Advanced Trauma Care, ACLS, and BLS. Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills are essential.
