VCA Dakota Ridge Animal Hospital is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our fast-paced practice. We are looking for a motivated, compassionate individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to providing exceptional patient care and client service.

Location:

Littleton, CO

Pay Range: $23.00-$25.00/hr. dependent on prior experience

Responsibilities include:

* Assisting veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgeries.

* Providing nursing care and completing patient treatments.

* Monitoring anesthesia and recovering patients.

* Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the hospital and treatment areas.

* Supporting the hospital team in all aspects of daily operations.

Qualifications:

* Completion of an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program (or equivalent) and eligibility for Colorado RVT certification/licensure.

* Strong technical skills and ability to multitask in a busy environment.

* Dependable attendance and commitment to patient care.

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Physical & Work Requirements:

* Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

* Must be able to walk, bend, stand, and reach throughout an 8+ hour shift.

* Willingness to work long or irregular hours when needed.

* Allergies to animals must be controllable through medication.

* Visual, auditory, and verbal acuity sufficient to record accurate information, recognize patients and clients, and communicate effectively in person and by phone.
