Retail & Store Manager, Retail Sales
About the Job
You will be accountable for operational excellence in execution of daily store procedures, payroll management, cash handling and inventory control. You will support the Store Manager in leading the team to achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales goals and financial plans with a primary focus on employee engagement and a collaborative selling environment. You will be a visible service leader, responsible for opening and closing the store, resolving customer concerns, and driving process adoption.
Additionally, you will play a key role in the recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and development of store team members, ensuring a positive, diverse, and inclusive work environment.
- Execute flawless store visual presentation by following corporate visual direction.
- Maintain accurate product inventory through receiving, pricing, RTVs, markdowns and transfers.
- Assess and strategize performance goals such as Conversion, Units Per Transaction, Sales Per Hour and other KPIs.
- Drive customer experience by resolving concerns and educating associates on company policies.
- Support the interviewing, hiring, training, and retention of store team members.
- Oversee onboarding of new hires, educating them on core values, product knowledge, and selling culture.
- Coach and develop staff to increase their knowledge and skill sets, providing opportunities for growth within the organization.
- Manage minor employee relations issues and performance management.
- Build relationships with the local community through events and brand awareness initiatives.
- Act as a brand ambassador embodying and promoting Beyond Yoga’s core values.
- Progressive retail leadership experience with proven skills in supervising, coaching, and training.
- Flexible schedule to meet business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to perform all essential job functions, including lifting up to 40 lbs.; standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, and climbing ladders.
- Reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Self‑starter with a growth mindset, adaptable to new initiatives and tools.
- Collaborative role model who exhibits behaviors aligned with a culture of inclusion and belonging.
Hourly rate ranges from $17.05 to $28.45, based on experience, qualifications, and business needs. The range may be adjusted to meet local minimum wage requirements or other factors.
