Is This You?You don't need any photography experience — we train you on everything. What matters is that you know how to connect with people and guide them through a meaningful, premium purchase decision.
This role is a natural fit if you have worked in:
- Retail jewelry or luxury goods
- Bridal or event planning
- Party or event planning
If your career has been built around high-touch, relationship-driven sales — where clients invest emotionally as much as financially — your skills translate directly here.
About the Role:A Day in Your Life
No two days look exactly the same — and that is part of what keeps this role engaging. Some days are heavier on phone consultations; others are filled with in-studio ordering appointments. The mix shifts week to week based on our calendar. What stays consistent is the quality of the work: every conversation is warm, every client comes in genuinely excited, and every interaction is an opportunity to guide someone toward something they will treasure for a lifetime.
Thisrole has two key parts:
- Pre-session phone consultations — connecting with new clients, understanding their vision, and preparing them for a transformative experience
- In-studio ordering appointments — guiding clients through selecting and customizing their custom portrait artwork in a relaxed, unhurried setting
- No cold calling. Every client has already said yes to working with us.
- No chaotic retail floor. Our studio is calm, beautiful, and appointment-based.
- No hard selling. Our clients come in excited — your job is to guide, not pressure.
- No stress or anxiety. Our average order values are strong and our clients are pre-qualified.
We are a high-end portrait studio in Littleton, Colorado, specializing in high school seniors, families, pets, and professional headshots. Since 2003, we have photographed over 10,000 clients — and our mission has always been the same: make every person feel confident, seen, and celebrated.
We are known for:- Stunning, timeless artwork that reflects each client's unique story
- A luxury, full-service experience from first call to final delivery
- Authentic relationships and transformational moments that go far beyond just taking photos
Our studio culture is warm, collaborative, and low-drama. We support each other, we celebrate wins together, and we take genuine pride in the work we do for our clients. If you have ever felt burned out by a stressful, high‑pressure sales environment, you will find this role to be a very welcome change.
What We're Looking ForYou're the right fit if you have:
- 3+ years of experience presenting premium, emotionally meaningful products or services — think custom jewelry, bridal packages, home furnishings, or event packages
- A natural ability to build rapport quickly and make people feel at ease
- Confidence presenting higher‑ticket options and handling questions without being pushy
- Strong organizational skills and comfort with CRM tools or scheduling systems
- An eye for beauty, style, and quality — you appreciate the difference between ordinary and extraordinary
- Self‑motivation, organization, and accountability (we love someone who takes the initiative)
- Excitement to lead and inspire those around you (we are looking for a driver, not a follower)
- Excellent verbal communication — warm, articulate, and genuinely enthusiastic
- Any photography knowledge — we train you completely
- Experience in the portrait or creative industry
- A background in traditional commission sales roles
- Base salary + performance‑based commission = $55,000–$95,000 expected annual earnings (Our top consultants consistently reach $75K+ — because clients come to us warm, excited, and ready to invest.)
- Approximately 4 weeks of paid time off, including studio closures during Christmas/New Year and other major holidays (4th of July & Thanksgiving)
- Health insurance reimbursement
- A beautiful, calm in‑studio environment — no commuting to client sites
- Ongoing training, mentorship, and a clear path to grow within the role
