Job SummaryThe Account Executive is responsible for managing the entire sales cycle for the assigned market and accounts (vertical). This position partners with regional and branch leadership to develop a strategic plan to grow market share and secure new and existing customer bases. The role focuses on developing strong partnerships with customers to penetrate and grow market share, driving revenue to the branch.
Key Responsibilities- Actively search for prospects and develop new accounts by telephone, scheduling in person appointments, and attending local and regional events.
- Retain and grow existing account revenue through total account penetration and implementation of marketing initiatives.
- Execute and support the operational aspects of secured business (i.e., proposals, contracts, vendor lists, customer correspondence).
- Develop and implement marketing plans and programs to support the organization’s revenue objectives.
- Understand overall market dynamics, identify emerging business opportunities and risks with assigned accounts, and provide feedback to leadership.
- Two years within a Sales and Marketing capacity in a related field within the assigned market segment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven track record in securing new accounts and maintaining existing accounts.
- Ability to meet revenue goals through successful execution of sales processes.
- Effective communication of strategies, objectives, and implementation plans at a high level.
- Understanding of decision‑making processes for each account and market strategy.
- Strong time‑management skills; organized and adaptable.
- Ability to multi‑task and remain knowledgeable in a fast‑changing market.
- Strong computer skills with MS Office.
- Passionate about client relations and focused on enhancing the customer experience.
- Creation of detailed business plans to facilitate attaining territory goals and quotas.
- Ability to excel in a self‑managed and team environment.
- Willingness to perform job‑related functions beyond standard office hours.
- Experience with CRM platforms, Adobe software, and Apple products.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal safety regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards.
- Use required personal protective equipment (gloves, masks, goggles, hard hats, safety footwear) as mandated for each role and job‑site conditions.
- Practice ergonomic principles to prevent musculoskeletal disorders, including proper desk setup and posture.
- Follow established office safety protocols, ensuring work spaces remain free from clutter to prevent trips and falls.
- Complete mandatory safety training sessions, such as hazard communication, emergency response, and safe equipment handling.
- Identify and immediately report any unsafe conditions, hazards, incidents, or injuries to supervisors.
- Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures relevant to your specific job site, including evacuation routes and contacts.
- Lifting and carrying materials or equipment up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs with assistance.
- Perform tasks requiring walking, bending, reaching, crouching, kneeling, climbing, squatting, crawling, lifting above shoulder, and twisting.
- Maintain prolonged sitting or standing as required (office, driving, or job sites), alternating regularly.
- Perform repetitive motions involving right/left hand movement (computer/mouse), wrists, or arms (e.g., typing, data entry).
- Operate machinery and tools as required for job tasks, utilizing fine motor skills and hand‑eye coordination.
- Maintain clear vision for close work, computer use, and eye coordination.
- Indoor office environment for corporate roles, involving standard office equipment and regular meetings.
- Outdoor fieldwork at restoration sites, including residential, commercial, or industrial properties, with exposure to varying weather conditions.
- Potential exposure to hazardous materials or chemicals; strict adherence to safety protocols and PPE is required.
- Availability for work after hours and weekends due to 24/7 business operations.
- Travel to and from job sites may be required, potentially using company vehicles.
