As a member of the Transportation Team at Lockheed Martin Space, you will work alongside a motivated group of professionals who are eager to provide the best service to the greater Lockheed Martin Space team. An Automotive Mechanic‑A will have the opportunity to fulfil the critical role of maintaining a multifunctional fleet in a dynamic environment, supporting the development and movement of space hardware.

The Transportation Team members are dedicated, adaptable, and thrive in settings with ever changing challenges and priorities.

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to support our goal of maintaining the fleet in optimal working condition.
• Perform requested repairs and adjustments on fleet equipment.
• Routinely clean and organize your immediate work area upon completion of any repairs and preventative maintenance.

• Light/Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Experience
• Heavy Equipment Mechanical Experience
• Knowledge of diagnostics, brakes, diesel and gas engines

• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications
• Class A or B CDL
• HAZMAT Endorsement
• ANSI Certified for PALDs
• DOT Certified
• State Emissions Certified
• Transtacker and Forklift Experience

This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance level:
Secret.

The base range for this position in Colorado is $30.16 – $44.99 per hour.
