Electricians
- Summit Station, Greenland - $2,850/week
- Litteton, CO
Polar Field Services, Inc. is seeking experienced Electricians for seasonal work at Summit Station, Greenland. These skilled tradespeople will perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations in a unique Arctic environment. Ideal candidates are adaptable, thrive in challenging conditions, and are eager to support scientific missions in remote locations.
Perks & Benefits- Competitive wage: $2,445 - $2,850 per week
- Health and welfare supplement of $4.22/hour on the first 40 hours worked weekly
- Eligible employees may participate in the Pro Deal Discount program
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current journeyman or master electrician license
- 4+ years of documented experience in all phases of electrical work
- Experience with generators, switchgears, breakers, and disconnects
- Valid driver’s license and United States passport
- Willingness to work outside in extreme cold weather conditions
- Ability to pass a background check and any required physical/dental exams
- Experience with remote and cold or polar environments
- Certification on the”NFPA 70E:
Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace“ training courses - Experience with commercial and industrial facility construction and controls
