Job Description
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Level 4 Ground Software Engineer with Final Top Secret clearance to work from our Littleton, CO location.
You will design, implement, test, and maintain object‑oriented ground system software using Java, C#, Rust, Angular, Python, and support modernization efforts aimed at greater efficiency, security, automation, and scalability. You will collaborate with software, systems, and test engineers and work in an Agile environment using Dev Sec Ops practices.
Selected candidates will be required to possess an Active Top Secret clearance with adjudicated SCI eligibility (TS/SCI) prior to employment.
This is an MID‑SR CAREER (Level
4) role requiring 5+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor’s degree.
- Deep Software Development background with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Experience developing ground subsystems.
- Cloud/containerization experience and understanding of distributed systems and scalable design.
- Experience developing microservices.
- Scaled Agile development expertise with strong communication skills.
- Current TS clearance and ability to obtain SCI.
- Experience designing and implementing software with Java, C#, Rust, Python, Apache Kafka, Apache Active
MQ, ELK Stack/Open Search, Postgre
SQL, Redis, Helm, Kubernetes. - Proficiency in Git for version control and collaboration.
- Working knowledge of Dev Sec Ops pipelines.
- Deep understanding of Agile Methodologies within the Scaled Agile Framework.
- Experience with Agile, automated testing, CI/CD, and regression testing.
- Strong problem‑solving skills applied to software engineering solutions.

Onsite full‑time; the work will be performed at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. You must be able to perform the job onsite in Littleton, CO.
