Position Overview
Software Engineer – SDA Tranche integration and test team within Production Operations. Participate in planning and execution of electrical floor operations, develop automated test scripts, procedures, and documentation for spacecraft testing at Waterton.
ResponsibilitiesLead planning and execution of electrical floor operations, develop automated test scripts and procedures, create documentation for spacecraft testing, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to work overtime, off‑shifts, and weekends as needed for launch support.
- Final SECRET Security Clearance.
- Experience with Python, test scripting, and debugging.
- CTC (Certified Test Conductor).
- Strong software scripting skills, specifically Python.
- Experience with EASY and/or Horizon software products.
- Payload and Bus SW Integration Experience.
- Experience in Linux Environment.
- Experience in ATLO or AIT Production and test environments, especially using Automation Framework (AF).
- Experience using GIT, setting IP addresses, and working with system administrators.
- Experience integrating with EGSE systems.
Final SECRET Clearance required. Position requires US citizenship.
Benefits and CompensationAnnual base salary range in applicable states: $93,200 – $164,450 (California, Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC). Salary determinations consider scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market factors.
