Experience with the FBM Program: We’ve supported the Navy’s mission to provide affordable and credible strategic defense for over 60 years. The FBM Program is experiencing significant growth and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies while maintaining technical requirements of strategic deterrence.
Role Overview: You will join the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Avionics organization committed to developing flight and test software for the missile system. You will be part of a team of software engineers that designs and develops mission‑critical flight and test subsystems for the FBM program. Your duties include supporting all phases of the software development life cycle by providing modern Dev Sec Ops solutions to the team.
BasicQualifications
- Experience with Git Ops using Git Lab for CI and Argo CD for CD
- Experience with Git Lab CI/CD components and pipelines
- Experience in Dev Ops development
- Familiarity with source control tools and processes
- Previous C++ or Python development/test experience
- Active interim Secret clearance with ability to obtain Secret clearance
- Familiarity with LM Software Factory tools and processes (including HADES, Erebos, CI/CD component library)
- Familiarity with secure supply chain SBOM tools and processes (including eFOSS, Nexus, Trivy/Syft, Hoppr/Droppr, Renovate)
- Familiarity with configuration management tools and processes (include Sem Ver, Git Lab release/tag, Nexus)
- Experience building and maintaining Dev Sec Ops infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, etc.)
- Experience building and using containers with Podman, Docker, containerd, Kaniko
- Experience with Dev Ops IaC using Ansible with Terraform
- Experience with Kubernetes Persistent Volumes, Persistent Volume Claims , and Storage Classes, secrets, configmaps
- Experience automating Linux repetitive tasks using Bash (Bourne Shell) scripting
This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a U.S. citizen for consideration. Clearance level:
Secret.
