Gymnastics Team Coach
Rate: $17.00/hour

Foothills is seeking an optional Gymnastics Team Coach. This position is responsible for training and coaching advanced gymnasts and will assist with the supervision and instruction of the gymnastics programs and coaching gymnastics CARA (Colorado Association of Recreational Athletes) teams. The position will keep accurate attendance records, develop lesson plans, learn and teach team routines, be present at all CARA team gymnastics practices and meets, and evaluate and assess skill level and progress of all participants.
Optional Gymnastics Team practices are on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30 pm–6:30 pm and during the Gymnastics season (May–August) meets are on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Coaches must be consistently available to coach practices and meets.
Required Experience- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
- One (1) year of previous experience in structured gymnastics programming.
- Experience with supervising children ages 6 to 18 years old preferred.
- Background in athletics, teaching, coaching and/or competing in gymnastics preferred.
- Concussion recognition training is required prior to employment and must be renewed annually.
- CPR/AED and First Aid certifications preferred.
- CARA Safety Awareness certificate is required prior to competition season.
