We are partnering with a growing organization seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join its accounting leadership team. This is a highly visible opportunity for an experienced accounting professional looking to expand beyond traditional financial reporting and play an important role in the continued growth of the business.

The Senior Accounting Manager will oversee key technical accounting and reporting activities while playing a significant role in the post-acquisition integration of newly acquired businesses. The position will also provide leadership to members of the financial reporting team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support technical accounting matters in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Support SEC reporting, including the preparation and review of 10-Q and 10-K filings.
  • Oversee and strengthen SOX compliance and internal controls.
  • Partner with newly acquired businesses during the post-acquisition integration process.
  • Help align accounting policies, processes, controls, compliance, and financial reporting across acquired entities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and standardize accounting and reporting processes.
  • Manage and develop members of the financial reporting team.
  • Partner cross-functionally with accounting, finance, and senior leadership on key initiatives.
  • Travel to newly acquired businesses as needed during periods of integration activity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Manager or Senior Manager-level accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, SOX, and internal controls.
  • Experience working within a publicly traded company and/or Big 4 public accounting environment strongly preferred.
  • Exposure to M&A, acquisition accounting, or post-acquisition integration is highly desirable.
  • Previous management or team leadership experience.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across different teams and levels of an organization.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, acquisition-driven environment with variable travel requirements.

Why This Opportunity?

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step into a broader leadership position combining technical accounting, SEC reporting, team management, and M&A integration. The role offers significant visibility and the opportunity to directly support the continued growth and evolution of the organization.
