Senior Manager - Technical Accounting

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a growing global organization located in north-central Massachusetts, is seeking a Senior Manager, Technical Accounting to lead technical accounting initiatives and support acquisitions, due diligence, and post-acquisition integrations. This highly visible role will require the ability to travel up to 25% partners with Finance, Legal, Operations, and executive leadership to drive strategic transactions, financial integration efforts, and complex accounting projects.

• Lead accounting and financial integration activities for acquisitions
• Support due diligence, purchase accounting, and post-close integration
• Research and document complex U.S. GAAP accounting matters
• Partner across Finance, Legal, IT, and Operations to improve processes and controls
• Support SOX compliance, SEC reporting, and financial reporting activities
• Evaluate accounting and integration risks associated with business transactions
• Lead special projects and mentor accounting team members

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• 5+ years of accounting, public accounting, transaction advisory, or corporate finance experience
• Strong technical accounting and U.S. GAAP expertise
• M&A, due diligence, or acquisition integration experience preferred
• Experience in a public company and SOX-controlled environment is a plus
• Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
