Manufacturing Accountant

• Support the accounting function through general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, month-end close activities and financial reporting.
• Maintain Fixed asset transaction reporting and reconciliations.
• Review work order costs prior to closing.
• Understand transactional activity relating to raw materials, inventory, labor, WIP.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and provide audit support.
• Verify and post General Ledger journal entries.
• Assist in preparation of month end reporting and expense analysis.
• Learn and utilize the Mas
  500 accounting system.

• 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 3–5 years of accounting experience. Manufacturing accounting experience is preferred but not required. Candidate should possess a strong understanding of general accounting principles, general ledger accounting and account reconciliations, with the ability and willingness to learn manufacturing accounting concepts including inventory, WIP and work-order costing.
• 2. To be trained and acquire full knowledge of the Mas
  500 accounting system to accomplish objectives.
• 3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• 4. Ability to work independently, possess strong verbal and written communication skills
