Shaker Lane - Kindergarten Teacher (One-Year Position)

Littleton Public Schools, Town of Littleton, Massachusetts.

• Create a collaborative and nurturing environment for students to learn and take risks.
• Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives to students.
• Plan well-structured lessons that have varied learning experiences to meet student needs.
• Guide and counsel students with adjustment and/or academic problems.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, communicating effectively and respectfully with students, families, and staff.
• Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress, priorities, and resource needs.
• Collaborate well with colleagues of diverse backgrounds on pedagogical approaches, curricular alignment - including Universally Designed Learning and instructional strategies.
• Evaluate student progress (including report cards) and create Student Success Team meeting notes when necessary.
• Hold appropriate DESE licensure.
• Perform other duties assigned by the building administration.

• Pay scale based on work experience and qualifications.
• Employment contingent upon successful passing of CORI and SAFIS fingerprinting.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.

$50,700 to $113,500 per year.
