Our client is seeking a Senior Site Planner | Project Engineer to lead facility planning and coordination for complex capital‑equipment installations. This role acts as the primary technical liaison between customers, architects, engineers, and internal teams to ensure facilities are properly designed and prepared for successful system installation.

You will oversee multiple projects, guide customers through facility readiness requirements, and ensure seamless coordination from early planning through installation.

Hybrid or Remote Responsibilities
  • Conduct site feasibility assessments and evaluate facility readiness.
  • Support the transition from planning into installation and execution phases.
  • Lead site‑planning activities for large, complex capital‑equipment installations.
  • Develop and review facility layouts, equipment plans, and construction drawings.
  • Maintain and improve site‑planning guides, templates, and technical documentation.
  • Review design documents from schematic design through construction documentation.
  • Identify and resolve design conflicts that may impact installation or system performance.
  • Perform site inspections and verify compliance with facility and equipment requirements.
  • Support customer meetings and provide technical guidance throughout project execution.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product development, sales, and project management teams.
  • Coordinate with architectural, engineering, and construction teams throughout project phases.
  • Manage and mentor site‑planning resources while overseeing multiple concurrent projects.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
  • Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Experience producing and reviewing construction documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, HVAC, structural, IT infrastructure)
  • Understanding of building codes, construction standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in site planning, architectural coordination, or technical design for capital‑equipment installations.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with BIM coordination workflows.
  • Experience working with cross‑functional engineering and construction teams.
  • Experience supporting installations in healthcare, laboratory, cleanroom, semiconductor, or other highly regulated environments.
