Mechanical Inspector

Are you detail-oriented with a strong background in quality inspection? We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Inspector to join our team and ensure the accuracy and compliance of precision machined parts and assemblies. This role is hands‑on, working with a variety of advanced measurement tools and playing a critical role in maintaining the quality standards our customers rely on.

• Inspect incoming and in‑process precision‑machined parts and assemblies to confirm conformance with specifications.
• Use advanced measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gages, Micro Hite Height Gage, Micro‑tek Vision System, and Optical Comparator.
• Review engineering drawings, production prints, and inspection instructions to determine acceptance.
• Complete documentation, including inspection reports, DMR forms, and database entries.
• Support tool calibration and help ensure equipment accuracy.
• Collaborate with the QC Supervisor to review and resolve deficiencies.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T).
• Hands‑on experience with mechanical instruments and inspection systems listed above.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and follow written instructions.
• Strong math skills, attention to detail, and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
