Welder

Job Duties:

* Prepares surfaces to be welded, fits parts, welds piping and manifolds

* Cut, grind, drill holes and weld steel to blueprint specifications

* May use plasma cutter to cut I-beams and steel plates

* Tack welds scrap metal to outline to provide jig for assembly

* Position parts in jig and files, chisels, and grinds parts, as indicated, to weld them together

* Anneals parts with acetylene torch to remove stresses of welding

Job Requirements:

* Requires 2- 4 years TIG or MIG welding experience

* Will weld carbon steel structural shapes and skid frames and chassis

* Must be able to weld from all angles and positions and possess mechanical aptitude

* Need to be able to lift 50+ lbs and have ability to stoop, crouch, bend, climb and kneel

Pay Rate:
Starting at $20.00/hour
