Location & Shift
UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, Aurora – Surgery Department. Full-time, 0.900 FTE, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks). Shift: Night. Pay: $35.29 – $54.71 per hour, dependent on relevant experience. Night Shift Incentive Program pays $1,600 quarterly ($6,400 per year) to full‑time night shift RNs and LPNs. This role is onsite only, no hybrid or remote option.
Minimum Requirements- Graduate of an accredited or state‑board‑approved Registered/Professional Nursing program (less than 3 years of experience).
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. - State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- 6 months of RN experience.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, CPR for the Professional Rescuer credential, card in hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must remain valid through sixty days of hire.
Provides top‑scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. Values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Prioritizes wellness, patient perspective, and evidence‑based practice. Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth. Welcomes new knowledge in a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment. Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care.
Acute Care FocusDirect care includes specialty Acute Care (Med‑Surg) units of moderate to high patient acuity. AMSN’s core curriculum and various specialty certification standards are included in evidence‑based care models for each unit.
