Material Handler

• Requesting MRO supplies, long‑lead stockroom inventory, outside services and capital expenditures as required
• Review and place orders for raw material and stockroom inventory utilizing MRP and Min Exception reports for quantity and delivery requirements
• Expedites orders and requests as needed
• Estimates values according to knowledge of market price
• Determines method of procurement, such as direct purchase or bid
• Prepares purchase orders or bid requests
• Maintains procurement records, such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories
• May approve invoices for payment
• May expedite delivery of goods to users
• Perform Purchasing and Inventory Control related functions
• Material transactions
• Physical inventory
• Shipping and receiving as required
• Maintain the inventory integrity, organization and cleanliness of stockroom

• Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with various departments within the organization
• Must be proficient in MS Excel and accounting software. MAS
  500 experience a plus
• Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50lbs
• Uses forklift to move materials
• Overhead Gantry and loader experience preferred
• Must be capable of handling stock with care
• Frequently required to balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crouch and occasionally climbs ladder
