Regulatory Compliance Specialist
The Senior Safety Coordinator is responsible for leading and coordinating company-wide safety initiatives, regulatory compliance, training programs, and continuous improvement efforts. This position serves as a subject matter expert and strategic partner to management while maintaining a strong presence on the production floor. The Senior Safety Coordinator will be assigned a primary location while supporting safety efforts across both company locations.
The employee may periodically travel to and provide support for other company locations as business needs require.
Lead implementation and continuous improvement of safety programs and policies.
Ensure compliance with Federal, State, local, OSHA, and environmental regulations.
Conduct risk assessments, inspections, audits, and corrective action follow-up.
Lead incident investigations and root-cause analysis activities.
Develop, update, and administer safety policies, procedures, and training materials.
Coordinate safety metrics, reporting, recordkeeping, and compliance documentation.
Develop and deliver employee, supervisor, and leadership safety training.
Partner with department leaders to identify hazards and reduce risk.
Support environmental compliance activities including hazardous waste management and reporting.
Lead safety committees and employee engagement initiatives.
Serve as backup and advisor to leadership concerning safety and regulatory matters.
Support both company locations while maintaining primary responsibility for one assigned location
Collaborate with Human Resources in planning, coordinating, and supporting company events, employee engagement activities, wellness programs, community outreach efforts, and employee recognition initiatives.

Bachelor's degree preferred.
5+ years of progressive safety experience.
Advanced knowledge of OSHA and manufacturing safety regulations.
OSHA 30 certification required.
