Part-time Cashier

The Part-Time Cashier provides prompt, efficient, accurate, and courteous service to members when processing payments. This position is responsible for receiving and posting payments, balancing cash drawers, preparing daily deposits, and completing related reports and documentation. The Cashier also provides support to the Member Services Department.

Essential

Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to accurately and efficiently process payments and handle cash.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to maintain a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude when interacting with members, the public, and coworkers.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to maintaining a strong work ethic.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and work effectively with limited supervision.
• Flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing priorities and departmental needs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Valued but not required skills and experience:

• Previous cashier, cash-handling, or customer service experience.
