Staff Accountant

We are seeking a Staff Accountant for our client's Livermore office. Accounting Degree required. 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables required. Job is 100% onsite. Qualifications

• Full understanding and ability to apply GAAP within financials
• Relies on knowledge, experience, skills, and judgment to complete most of the essential job functions with general
• Must be accurate, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while meeting numerous deadlines
• Ability to plan work and prioritize effectively
• Positive and proactive team player who must uphold the core values of the organization which include teamwork
• Willingness to learn and follow directions
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 3 years of experience
• Strong technology skills, advanced Excel skills including graphing

Staff Accountant Responsibilities

• Prepare general ledger entries including monthly and yearly accruals
• Performing reconciliation including bank statements
• Assisting in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements
• Maintain monthly executive financial ratio analysis including graphing
• Assisting with document preparation for financial audits
• Assist with property taxes, sales tax and other government reports
• Matching, balancing, coding and entering accounts payable invoices
• Performing the cash disbursement process for vendors
• Researching and resolving accounts payable issues with vendors
