Staff Accountant

Advanced Cooling Technologies is a recognized leader in medical cooling technology across North America. We specialize in nationwide maintenance, emergency repair, and replacement services for medical imaging chillers for MRI equipment.

This is a 90-day contractor to full-time, on-site Staff Accountant role located in Livermore, CA. The Staff Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including preparing accounts payable roll, inventory management, financial statements, reconciling accounts, etc. The role involves assisting with budgeting as well as ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. The Staff Accountant will assist with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and decision-making processes.

• Strong accounting knowledge, including account reconciliation, financial reporting, and compliance with GAAP principles
• Teamwork to execute the monthly and quarterly book close process, ensuring timelines and accuracy are met.
• Collaborate with service operations team to ensure smooth accounting transactions and provide best support as needed.
• Take charge of inventory control, monthly inventory reconciliation. Support performs monthly physical inventory counts.
• Full charge of AP and work with inventory logistic management and procurement PO. work with operation specialist to audit weekly base for quote process to encourage team to follow up the procedures.
• Oversee and assist AR, invoice customers, monitor aging reports, and handle collections activities
• Bank account reconciliations
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools, such as Quick Books, Excel, MS Office and Sales Force.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, or a related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration across teams
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
