$26-$29/Hour

We're partnering with a well-established East Bay organization seeking an Accounting & Purchasing Specialist to support both financial operations and procurement activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, working independently, and being a key contributor on a collaborative team.

• Process accounts payable and vendor payments

• Verify invoices and resolve discrepancies with vendors

• Apply customer payments and maintain accurate records

• Support accounts receivable, invoicing, and account follow-up

• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities

• Maintain organized financial documentation

• Support 1099 preparation and compliance reporting

• Ensure accounting practices align with GAAP standards

• Coordinate purchasing for office, production, and operational supplies

• Create and manage purchase orders

• Monitor inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed

• Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and deliveries

• Research cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers

• Resolve shipping, receiving, and order-related issues

✔ 5+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, purchasing, procurement, or related experience

✔ Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field preferred

✔ Strong understanding of:

• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• General Ledger activity
• Financial reporting

✔ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

✔ ERP system experience is a plus

✔ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

✔ Ability to manage multiple priorities independently

✔ Strong communication and customer service skills

✅ Flexible start time between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM

✅ Approximately 6-hour workday

✅ 100% on-site in Livermore
