Project Managers -Superintendents - Project Engineers

FBD Vanguard Construction, Inc., established in 1997 and based in Livermore, CA, is a Northern California General Contractor specializing in public and private sector projects. Starting with small projects, the company has grown to employ approximately 150 professionals and operates with a diverse fleet of equipment, enabling work on projects of various sizes and emergency deployments. Areas of specialization include JPCP, LCB, Rapid Set Concrete Pavement, Concrete Barriers, and infrastructure elements like sidewalks, curbs, and gutters.

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Livermore, CA, for Project Managers, Superintendents, or Project Engineers. Candidates in these roles will oversee construction projects from inception to completion, coordinate logistics, supervise daily operations, ensure quality and compliance during inspections, monitor schedules, and facilitate communication between clients, teams, and subcontractors. They will work to ensure that all construction activities are completed on time, within scope and budget.

• Experience in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting for construction projects.
• Strong coordination skills in Expediting and Logistics Management to oversee the delivery of materials and manage resources effectively.
• Solid problem-solving and technical skills, including conducting site Inspections to maintain compliance and oversee construction quality standards.
• Effective communication and team collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
• Prior experience in construction or related fields is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple priorities effectively.
