JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking two Project Managers to join a growing electrical contractor with offices in West Sacramento and Livermore, CA. This organization is experiencing significant growth, currently managing over $30M in active work and preparing to take on an additional $23M+ in projects. As they continue expanding into new states and markets, they are looking for strong Project Managers who can lead projects from award through completion while collaborating closely with estimating, field operations, project engineers, and customers.

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, resources, customer relationships, and overall project execution. This individual will work closely with foremen, project engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. The ideal candidate is highly resourceful, solutions-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities

Manage projects from award through closeout, ensuring successful execution of scope, budget, and schedule.

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and work plans.

Track project budgets, costs, and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Coordinate daily with Project Engineers, Foremen, customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Identify out-of-scope work and prepare change orders to maximize project profitability.

Provide consistent project updates to customers and internal leadership.

Attend jobsite meetings and support project teams in resolving issues and removing roadblocks.

Maintain strong customer relationships and respond to client communications in a timely manner.

Monitor project performance and implement improvements when necessary.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

2+ years of Project Management experience within electrical construction, low-voltage, utility, infrastructure, or related construction environments.

Experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle.

Strong understanding of project budgets, scheduling, resource allocation, and change order management.

Excellent communication, leadership, and customer-facing skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams.

Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience working for an electrical contractor, specialty contractor, or general contractor.

Experience with public works, utility, infrastructure, transportation, or low-voltage projects.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Familiarity with California construction projects and public works environments.
