Responsibilities

Design and develop instructional programs for classroom and technical or trades environments. Lead or mentor instructional design efforts and manage small to mid-sized projects. Collaborate across functions with diverse stakeholders to ensure alignment and effectiveness of training initiatives.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 5 years of instructional design experience, including 2 years in a leadership or mentoring role.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design for classroom and technical or trades environments.
  • Demonstrated experience designing multi-year technical training programs.
  • Proven experience managing small to mid-sized projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Articulate Storyline, LMS, video production, and web design tools.
  • Skills:

    author-it, articulate storyline, instructional design.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing apprenticeship programs in skilled trades.
  • Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience working in the utility industry, trades or a similar environment.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Questionmark, Author-It, MS Teams, and virtual learning platforms.
  • Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools to support efficient work.

  • Contract is one year with potential to extend.
