Right At School – a place to be a kid!

Right At School is a program that offers before‑ and after‑school extended day services with disguised learning activities and daily enrichment for students in local school districts.

Educator Pay Rate: $20 – $23 per hour (depending on education and experience)

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 6:30 am–8:45 am and/or 1:45 pm–6:00 pm. Candidates must be available to work all five days.

Location:

Candidates may be placed at schools throughout the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District. Two additional locations are in the Pleasanton district.

Start date:

August 1, 2025.

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and ensure team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily
  
  Activities:
  
  prepare curriculum and activities that align with program objectives and lead structured fitness and learning experiences for all ages.
• Lead by Example: maintain a safe, nurturing environment, model positive guidance, and employ effective classroom management.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: monitor the environment, address hazards, and follow all safety protocols. Document attendance, incidents, and observations as required.
• Communicate: interact effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

• Outstanding customer‑service and relationship‑building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

• Meet state‑specific requirements.
• Live Scan fingerprint background check, FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter training, Health Screening Certificate with a negative TB test from a physician.
• 18 + years of age.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
