Job Description

Engineering Program Manager provides technical and program leadership for complex, cross‑functional product development initiatives from early concept through high‑volume manufacturing. This role owns execution across the entire product lifecycle, ensuring on‑time delivery, quality, cost, and manufacturability targets are met.

The Program Manager partners closely with engineering, marketing, operations, supply chain, and finance to drive programs through ideation, development, NPI, ramp, and sustainment. A strong technical background is essential, enabling the Program Manager to synthesize complex technical data, guide decision‑making, and communicate clear status and risks to executive leadership. This role demonstrates extreme ownership of the product and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Program & Product Lifecycle Leadership
  • Lead cross‑functional teams through all phases of the product development lifecycle, from concept ideation to transfer into high‑volume manufacturing.

  • Own product deliverables, schedules, risks, and dependencies across development milestones.

  • Ensure programs meet Time‑to‑Market expectations by proactively identifying, escalating, and resolving issues.

Cross Functional Execution & Influence
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across engineering, marketing, operations, supply chain, and finance.

  • Align teams on priorities, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring accountability and focus.

  • Drive execution through influence rather than authority, motivating teams to tackle challenges as they arise.

Technical & Analytical Leadership
  • Leverage technical expertise to review and digest engineering data from labs, clean rooms, and manufacturing environments.

  • Guide teams toward system‑level solutions by maintaining a product "top‑to‑bottom" understanding.

  • Communicate clear, concise program status, risks, and tradeoffs to executive stakeholders.

Financial & Risk Management
  • Drive complex programs through financial rigor, including ROI analysis, budget control, and cost management.

  • Lead FMEA activities to identify and mitigate technical, manufacturing, and supply‑chain risks.

  • Ensure designs and processes are optimized for manufacturability and long‑term sustainment.

New Product Introduction (NPI) & Ramp
  • Own NPI on‑time delivery (OTD) and quality metrics.

  • Support products through ramp to volume manufacturing, including sustaining activities.

  • Lead root‑cause investigations for design, manufacturing, or field quality issues.

  • Establish and run cross‑functional task forces to rapidly address critical problems and ensure timely resolution.
