IT Project Manager - Teamcenter Implementation

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Livermore, CA that is seeking an IT Project Manager - Teamcenter Implementation to support the Engineering Services Systems Group. Engineering Services manages Engineering Change Management processes.

• Project manage business process and software improvements/initiatives related to Problem Report, Engineering Change Management, and other engineering processes. This includes developing and managing system solutions to meet business objectives, creating systems and business process strategies, drafting business and technical specifications, coordinating with developers, testing, conducting system/user acceptance tests, and developing and delivering training material.
• Provide business administration support for the various applications supporting Engineering Services in a backup capacity.
• Field user‑reported issues and questions and collaborate with IT to resolve issues requiring system updates.
• Work closely with Global Products Group (engineering), Global Operations, and Customer Support Business Group to accomplish the above.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Business Administration, or Software Development.
• 8 years of experience developing and implementing business processes and/or software solutions; emphasis on business/functional requirements definition, stakeholder alignment, coordinating with development teams, and user‑acceptance.
• 5+ years of Teamcenter PLM experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills with attention to detail and multi‑tasking.
• Possess an effective, results‑oriented collaborative approach.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in leading and managing cross‑functional teams without direct‑line authority.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving skills with the ability to solve complex problems with cross‑functional organizations and potentially conflicting business needs.

• Prior Engineering Change Management/PLM work experience.
• Knowledge of product/BOM structures, configuration management, change control/PLM systems (Teamcenter preferred), engineering, problem reporting, and manufacturing business processes.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
