Computer Aided Design Drafter

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Contract

Pay: $30–$38/hr

We are seeking a skilled Drafter/Designer 3 to support engineering and manufacturing operations. This role will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed CAD drawings, supporting design changes, and ensuring documentation accuracy to meet engineering and production standards.

• Create and modify detailed drawings using CAD software based on engineering sketches, layouts, and technical notes.
• Update and maintain mechanical drawings, models, and design documentation.
• Support engineering teams with design modifications to improve manufacturability, quality, and production processes.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with engineering standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing teams on design updates and revisions.
• Assist with Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and Engineering Change Requests (ECR).
• Maintain CAD files, documentation, and engineering records.

• Experience with CAD software (Solid Works, AutoCAD, Creo, NX, or similar).
• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, blueprints, and design standards.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or engineering environments.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and apply design updates.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, aerospace, medical device, or other precision equipment industries.
• Familiarity with engineering change processes and document control systems.
