Inertia is seeking an experienced Laser Physicist to drive the design of high power laser systems and testing capabilities for its fusion energy program. This role focuses on developing the world’s highest average power pulsed lasers to form the unit cell of our power plant.
The candidate will model and optimize laser systems, assess architectural options with industry partners, and oversee team efforts from design to commissioning of advanced laser test facilities.
