About

the Position

The Client Service Representative II (CSR II) is an onsite position that does not offer remote opportunities. The CSR II is responsible for providing a variety of paying and receiving functions for clients in person, via phone, through the mail and through online banking. Key duties include:

  • Processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier’s checks, stop payments, and wires.
  • Balancing daily transactions and verifying cash totals.
  • Performing consumer new‑account functions such as opening and closing accounts, renewing certificates of deposit, and assisting clients with bookkeeping and checking‑account problems.
  • Answering client questions regarding the bank’s products and services and performing account‑maintenance duties.
  • Actively cross‑selling the bank’s products and services and processing applications for online banking systems.
  • Carrying out assigned side‑jobs, clerical functions, and assisting the Branch Manager and/or Client Service Manager with additional duties as assigned.
  • Assisting clients promptly, courteously, efficiently, and professionally.
  • Performing all duties accurately, timely, and in accordance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Education/Certification: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Required Knowledge: Knowledge of teller, new‑account, and operations procedures; basic understanding of banking products, services, and operations.
  • Experience

    Required:

    Minimum of 2 years of teller and new‑account experience in the financial services industry.
  • Skills/Abilities:
    • Good communication skills.
    • Professional appearance, dress, and attitude.
    • Good math skills.
    • Ability to use Microsoft Office software package.

Location:

Onsite, no remote.
