Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)  - Livermore, CA

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students’ communication needs. This contract position involves working in a school-based environment near Livermore, CA, serving children with diverse speech and language challenges. You’ll contribute to positive student outcomes through assessment, therapy implementation, and collaboration, all while expanding your own expertise alongside seasoned professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's goals
  • Facilitate dynamic therapy sessions focused on speech, language, and communication skills
  • Document student progress with precision, ensuring clear and consistent reporting
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including teachers, therapists, and administrators—for coordinated care
  • Actively engage, educate, and support families throughout the intervention process
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
  • Prior experience with pediatric and/or school-aged children highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment
  • Active or eligible SLP license as approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology
