Supply Chain Business Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Business Manager (SBM) to manage strategic suppliers within the RF commodity and ensure uninterrupted material supply to support manufacturing operations and customer commitments.

This role serves as the primary operational interface between suppliers and internal cross-functional teams, driving supplier performance, material availability, inventory optimization, and operational excellence within a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic RF commodity suppliers to ensure material availability and supply continuity.
• Develop supplier delivery commitments aligned with production forecasts and business priorities.
• Monitor supplier performance, inventory levels, purchase orders, and shipment schedules.
• Proactively identify and resolve material shortages and supply constraints.
• Lead supplier recovery plans and escalation activities when delivery commitments are at risk.

• Partner with suppliers to improve delivery performance, responsiveness, and operational efficiency.
• Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Supply Chain Operations

• Support material planning and procurement activities to meet manufacturing demand.
• Collaborate with Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supplier Quality teams to resolve supply issues.
• Drive inventory optimization using methodologies such as:
• JIT
• Min/Max Planning
• Safety Stock
• Support supply chain process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
• Utilize SAP and reporting tools to analyze supply chain performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist with SAP S/4
  
  HANA supply chain initiatives, testing, and business process improvements.
• Support cost reduction initiatives and help manage Purchase Price Variance (PPV).
• Evaluate supplier manufacturing capabilities and drive improvements in:
• Capacity
• Throughput
• Cycle Time
• Yield
• On-Time Delivery

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 8+ years of supply chain, procurement, materials planning, or manufacturing operations experience.
• Experience supporting semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments preferred.
• Experience managing material planning, procurement, supplier performance, and inventory.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4
  
  HANA, including:
• Production Planning (PP)
• Inventory Management
• Procurement
• Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Tableau, or Advanced Excel.
• APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP).
